Founded by Associate Professor Andrew Lee, the practice now comprises of a dedicated team of neurologists, nurses, neurophysiology technicians and administrative staff.

We have strong commitment to quality and ongoing customer service. Neurologists

At Specialists on College there are 4 Neurologists who are all general Neurologists, each with sub-specialty interests across a broad array of neurological disorders and are affiliated with leading teaching hospitals in Adelaide including Flinders Medical Centre and Calvary Adelaide hospitals. There is also a Vascular Surgeon.

Associate Professor Andrew Lee

Dr Andrew Lee is a neurologist with academic and specialty interest in both stroke and multiple sclerosis. He is an Associate Professor at both Flinders University and the University of South Australia.

He underwent subspecialty training in stroke medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and also has a Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. He maintains an active research in stroke medicine and conducts clinical trials in multiple sclerosis, memory disorders and other areas of neurology.

Dr Andrew Lee is a neurologist with academic and specialty interest in both stroke and multiple sclerosis. He is an Associate Professor at both Flinders University and the University of South Australia.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the World Stroke Organisation. He is on the editorial board of the journal Stroke as well as current reviewer of a number of high impact journals including Neurology, BMC neurology, Journal of Stroke, International Journal of Stroke and the Internal Medicine Journal.

Dr Lee is happy to be consulted on medicolegal issues and does take on a limited number of these in his areas of expertise.

Dr Matthew Willcourt

Matthew was born in Adelaide and moved to America at a young age. Then Matthew attended medical school in Queensland before returning to Adelaide for basic physician training and General Medicine training at Flinders Medical Centre. He then did 2 years of neurology training in Melbourne and returned to Adelaide.

Matt works 3 days a week at Flinders Medical Centre in the neurology department, and 2 days a week at Specialists on College.

Dr Karyn Boundy

Dr Karyn Boundy is a senior consultant neurologist who has worked within SA Health since 1992. Her special interests include multiple sclerosis, dementia and neurodegenerative disorders. She has extensive experience in dementia clinical trials.

She worked at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital for many years and now, in addition to her private work at Specialists on College, she is a consultant neurologist at Flinders Medical Centre.

Dr Roula Ghaoui

Dr Roula Ghaoui is an Adult Neurologist and an Early career researcher with subspecialty qualifications in neuromuscular, neurophysiology and neurogenetic disorders.

She completed her Adult Neurology training in December 2012 and completed a PhD in neurogenetics and neuromuscular disease at the Children’s hospital at Westmead and through the University of Sydney in 2017.
